The items this shop sells can be found many other places, so there is really no reason to support a business that treats people this way.

During my visit, I was planning to check out several of their high-end brands. Unfortunately, the middle-aged salesman behind the counter was extremely rude. While he was making insulting remarks to me, he also openly complained to another customer in the store simply because they wanted to try on a different pair of trousers.

The atmosphere was so toxic that I decided to just finish my purchase quickly and leave. Even during payment, the service was completely unprofessional—the item was just tossed in a bag, and the salesman acted annoyed and dismissive. When the transaction was done, he just turned his back on me and ignored me completely when I said thank you.

I left the store in a really bad mood. I have honestly never experienced such obnoxious and arrogant customer service in my life.

Luckily, I went to 14oz. around the corner right after, where the staff was polite, welcoming, and helpful. A completely different and much better experience.

Berlin deserves a better shop than Burg und Schild. Do yourself a favor and buy your Japanese repro brands somewhere else.

Am 3.3.26 kaufte ich eine Jacke von Momotaro Hea´vy Sashiko in blau. Die Jacke verfärbte nicht nur meine Hände, sondern auch mein Uhrenarmband Panerai und meinen Brunello Cucinelli Pullover. Eine Rückabwicklung des Verkaufes wurde abgelehnt, obwohl man wusste, dass die Jacke färbt.
