The mattress is great especially for the price I paid. I purchased online and it was frustrating that there is no number to call to discuss online orders. I was emailed on a Friday to say my mattress would be delivered on the Sunday. No one turned up on the Sunday and when I called my nearest physical store they said they couldn’t assist with online sales. I emailed the online team and heard back 2 days later. I was promised my mattress would be delivered that weekend. Then on that Friday I was told there was a delay and I would have to wait another week. The team who delivered the mattress eventually were really friendly and called me 30 mins prior to check I was at home and available. So, while it was a frustrating process to get a consistent story for the delivery of my item, the other areas of my experience were great. I’d just recommend that there was a number to call for online sales.

Delivery of the goods was a little…
Delivery of the goods was a little longer than expected but communicated early. Delivery was to be at an arranged time however it showed up unannounced. Luckily I was home. Delivery of goods in excellent condition.

Delivery and communication was…
Delivery and communication was terrible.
No one answered emails and there was no phone number to call.
We were left with no bed for 2 weeks, despite delivery promised.
I wouldn't recommend.

Communication needs improvement

Absolutely love my new mattress and base! Everything has been perfect, and I genuinely have no complaints. The quality of both the mattress and base is fantastic, and you can really tell that they are well-made. The mattress is incredibly comfortable, supportive, and feels like excellent value for money. I’m really impressed with the overall quality and couldn’t be happier with my choice.
The entire process, from purchasing through to delivery, was incredibly easy, smooth, and straightforward. Communication was great, and everything went exactly as expected, making the whole experience completely stress-free.

Trundler bed do not buy.
Brought a bed from beds4u Palmerston North. Worst service and experience I’ve had.
Was told would receive a call back and had nothing. When you say you have a 60 day customer satisfaction guarantee and can’t even act on that. To top it off they take both the old and new and old base and leave us with no explanation or detail of what’s going on. Asked for the old base that was paid in full before delivery and now our 18 month daughter has a bed with no base on the floor.
Would never go back.

I have found this company to be really good.
Very helpful in buying the right bed for my husband and I.
We had a bit of a misunderstanding and they bent over backwards to resolve it.
When they delivered the bed, they set the whole bed up for me and took away all the rubbish. They were very helpful.
We are very happy with the service we received.

Great service at Invercargill store. Had a mix up with the base when bed was delivered but it was sorted the next day. Delivery driver was nice guy. Recommended would be happy to buy from them again

Website was easy to use, communication was awesome with the team to organize delivery day and then the delivery people were awesome with communication as well to tell me when and even brought it inside for me. Purchased the bed for my pre teen and she loves it

Unfortunately this is a bad experience…
Unfortunately this is a bad experience for us. We bought a bed from Hornby, Christchurch many weeks ago and waited until on the delivery we were told that it needs to delayed by another 2 more weeks. If we don't call them and ask for an update then we wouldn't know when will it arrive. Please be careful with this and don't be tempted with their free delivery.

The delivery was prompt and they did…
The delivery was prompt and they did great with getting it into the home without making a mess. The bed is comfy. The women we spoke with in store was knowledgeable and able to assist us with exploring a purchase of a bed. She was knowledgeable on what beds were the equivalent of the ones we had seen online so we could feel what they were like before purchasing. She also knew how much delivery was and explained when it would be delivered as well as any extra fees of we needed a bed removed as well. 100% would recommend others to purchase from here.

Had to buy a headboard...
Had to buy a headboard due to a fire, salesman was good, informed me that it would be about a month wait as the june container had already arrive which was fine as I was purchasing well before I needed. I didnt pay for delivery as I was going to pickup. When it did arrive I didnt have the free time to go pick it up as it was a 4 hour round trip so I asked if it could be delivered and again wasn't a problem, so I paid the extra $149 on the 14th of July. Delivery was 24th-25th July at the earliest but I was working and it was still somewhat of a building site so this then became 6/7 august which then became 13th of august, which was one month after I paid a fairly hefty 149 for delivery..13th of august was almost over and no delivery, so I messaged the salesman. 2 hours later I get a message saying that he thought he'd left me a message but It was someone else (even though our communication was messaging not voice) , and that the truck was having a problem and had to go back. Ok it happens, this was a Thursday and he was getting back to me the next day with the new date and timings. Friday.. nothing, Saturday.. nothing. I messaged monday the 17th, No real excuse as to why he didnt let me know except he was working at other stores.. OK cool, and this prevented you from letting me know how exactly??? Anyway turns out new delivery is now the 24th.. seriously? You had an issue.. it happens but you know what, good customer service says you get it there ASAP, like the next week. Not a week and a half later especially when each customer has paid $149 for delivery, oh but he was given authorization to give me 2 very thin pillows. So over all a pretty average experience, unless you want something you cant get elsewhere, I'd recommend going elsewhere. Purchased 9th of June, received 11 weeks later. Communication poor (I shouldn't have to chase it), delivery poor (I shouldn't have to wait 6 weeks when ive paid $149). The delivery guys were great though!
