Avoid. They will make up damage after you return the car
The time it took the person at the hire desk to process each customer was so slow. From getting through security to finding a queue of 5 people for the desk already annoyed, and finally being given the car keys took nearly 2 hours. No apology or urgency from the lady at the desk. We got to the car close to midnight, and found that it had not been cleaned. It was smelly and dirty throughout. Having waited nearly 2 hours, and with another 3 people behind me in the queue, there was no chance whatsoever that the lady was going to come and inspect the car with me. Unacceptable.
When I brought the car back, there was a person in the car park to give the keys back to. I handed her the keys and took my flight. A week later, and email arrives telling me I had caused damage and I will be charged €230 to my card. The photos that were taken were unclear and I could see no damage. I most certainly did not cause the damage, and it certainly did not happen whilst on my hire. I replied to the email.... no reply. Unacceptable.
A weel later and another email came from a different email address telling me that the €230 had been charged to my card. I replied to that email explaining there has been a mistake. No reply.
Unacceptable.
I will never use this bunch of cowboys again. They are a disgusting company who don't check the car with the person hiring, and then make up some damage. They refuse to answer emails or to offer form of correspondence other than what they are charging. They couldn't care less about the people waiting for 2 hours in the queue. Never ever again.
Avoid this company. They should be shut down

we are sincerely sorry to read about your experience at our Pescara Airport branch. We understand the inconvenience caused by the waiting time at the desk, the condition of the vehicle at pick-up and the subsequent communication regarding the alleged damage.
We apologise if the service you received was not perceived as attentive and timely. Vehicle handover should always be handled clearly and, where any non-compliant condition is found, the customer must be able to report it before using the car.
Regarding damages, Autovia carries out documented checks upon return and, when differences are found compared with the vehicle’s recorded condition at pick-up, the customer is informed with the relevant documentation. However, we understand your concern about the clarity of the photos and the lack of response to your emails: this is an important point that requires further review.
We kindly ask you to contact customercare@autovia.it with your booking or rental agreement number, so that the case, the images and the previous communications can be checked in detail.

Esperienza NEGATIVA con…
Purtroppo esperienza NEGATIVA con Autovia/Ecovia Italia Pescara, non avendo accettato l'assicurazione proposta da loro, poiché avevo già acquistato quella del broker,alla riconsegna mi sono stati addebitati €.65,00 per un presunto graffio di 2cm sul montante sx dell'auto. Ho richiesto le foto che attestano il danno e non è possibile stabilire se il graffio fosse precedente o successivo al noleggio, quindi la richiesta è arbitraria ed infondata.
Premesso che NON sono stato accompagnato al ritiro dell'auto x la valutazione dei danni esistenti, ho fotografato tutta l'auto in modo da avere prove in mano. SCONSIGLIO vivamente questo autonoleggio sia come Autovia che come Ecovia e consiglio di obbligare i noleggiatore ad accompagnarvi al ritiro auto prima di firmare il contratto, che a me NON È STATO CONSEGNATO AL MOMENTO bensì dopo 2 settimane dalla contestazione e numerose richieste.
Ovviamente il tutto è stato denunciato alle autorità competenti con perizia di terza parte.
Mai successa una cosa del genere in precedenti e numerosi noleggi auto.
Esattamente come da Voi precisato "supportati da documentazione fotografica e valutazioni interne." sarebbe a Vostro insindacabile giudizio come negli altri casi esposti da altri clienti. Ma il Vostro insindacabile giudizio si può controvertire nelle sedi adeguate.
Mi dispiace che qui non si possa allegare la documentazione fotografica.

ci dispiace per la sua percezione dell’accaduto, ma desideriamo chiarire che le procedure di verifica dei danni seguono criteri precisi e documentati. Tutti i veicoli vengono controllati sia in fase di consegna che di riconsegna, e gli eventuali addebiti sono sempre supportati da documentazione fotografica e valutazioni interne.
Ricordiamo inoltre che è responsabilità del cliente verificare lo stato del veicolo al momento del ritiro e segnalare eventuali difformità prima dell’utilizzo, come previsto dalle condizioni di noleggio.
Per quanto riguarda le coperture assicurative, le polizze acquistate tramite broker terzi non sostituiscono le condizioni e le responsabilità previste dal contratto di noleggio sottoscritto con la nostra società.
Restiamo comunque disponibili a eventuali verifiche attraverso i canali ufficiali.

Facturations abusives et non justifiées…
Facturations abusives et non justifiées liées au niveau d’essence et à un dégât. Il s avère que le dégât a été fait par eux même!!!, fraude avérée. Ils ne m’ont fourni aucune photo du dégât au véhicule lors de la restitution du véhicule sur le parking. Plainte déposée mais même avec des preuves photos que je leur ai fourni justifiant :
1) un niveau d essence correct suivant contrat
2) l’ endroit qu’ils ont ciblé où il y avait le dégât était en état lors de la remise du véhicule ( je leur ai envoyé les photos le prouvant)
ls n’ont rien voulu entendre et m’ont prélevé via ma carte de crédit. Comportement malhonnête , société à éviter !!!

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING!!!!!!!!!!!
Extremely DISAPPOINTING experience with this provider. Have been renting for the last 20+ years with different companies and never had such an awful, terrible, very bad experience. Although is written they accept credit card only (I would like to point out that I have always used debit card before and never had any issues at all) they force you to buy at the desk the insurance for using the debit card (after you have already paid online for your rental). WATCH OUT...THESE ARE SCAMMERS AND CHARGE EXTRA MONEY!!! You try to explain the situation to their stuff and in a robotic way they answer back "ah this is the procedure"... Hopeless and useless .... But that's not the only thing. The car was also in EXTREMELY POOR CONDITION. Literally not cleaned inside, with stains on the chairs and literally with a huge hole in the mat and with so many miles, something they should not rent. Something you wouldn't expect for the price they charge as the car should be newer and other companies don't have such old vehicles in their fleet. They deserve to go bust!

we firmly reject the accusations contained in your review. Accepted payment methods and rental requirements are clearly stated in the terms and conditions. As with any rental company, Autovia defines which forms of guarantee are accepted.
When a payment method does not meet the required criteria, an additional coverage may be offered – but not imposed – to reduce or eliminate the security deposit. This is an alternative solution, not an obligation.
Regarding the vehicle condition, all cars are checked before delivery. Any issue should be reported at the time of pick-up so it can be addressed immediately.
We remain available to review any specific case through our official customer service channels.

Abbiamo noleggiato una macchina all'aeroporto di Pescara Sabato 14/03/26. Nonostante la prenotazione, abbiamo dovuto aspettare 1 ora in fila per avere la macchina. Tutto lento, tutto complicato, una cosa scandalosa. Ci hanno detto che le ragazze stavano imparando! Ma i training vanno fatti prima dei momenti di picco non mentre la gente è in coda!!! Orribile servizio.

ci dispiace per l’attesa riscontrata al banco. In alcune giornate, possono verificarsi tempi di gestione più lunghi del previsto.
La formazione del personale è un processo continuo e necessario per garantire un servizio sempre più efficiente, ma comprendiamo che l’attesa possa risultare poco piacevole quando si è appena arrivati in aeroporto.

Ich hatte per Internet gebucht und…
Ich hatte per Internet gebucht und einen anderen Fahrer eingetragen,
Beim Abholen wurde bemängelt, dass die Kreditkarte nicht richtig sei.
Ein Wechsel des Fahrers wurde abgelehnt, bei dem alle Karten vorgelegen haben.
Der Vorgang wurde nicht storniert, die Firma hat sich das bereits gezahlte Geld ohne Leistung eingestrichen.
Beim Autoverleih nebenan, keine Probleme mit den Karten

Dear Customer,
please note that the vehicle can be released only to the main driver indicated in the reservation, who must be present at the desk and provide a valid credit card issued in their own name and compliant with the rental conditions.
Changing the main driver is not always permitted, especially for bookings made through brokers, as the voucher is nominal and non-transferable, as stated in the terms accepted at the time of booking.
If the contractual requirements for vehicle delivery are not met, the rental cannot be started. Any amounts retained depend on the conditions applied by the booking intermediary and cannot be managed directly by the branch.
We therefore recommend carefully checking driver and payment requirements before confirming a reservation.

Manque de sérieux !!
Manque de sérieux !!! De plus l'emplyée ne parle que l'italien. Communication difficile. Elle fait signer des documents et remet les clés du véhicule sans accompager les clients et constater d'éventuels dommages au début de la location. Elle nous explique que chez Autovia cela NE se fait pas. Par contre elle se donne la peine de venir au retour du véhicule pour faire le tour et constater un éclat qui n'était pas de notre fait puisqu'il était déjà présent mais pas indiqué sur le formulaire. On nous reclame 345 € pour la réparation !

1> Voiture de catégorie inférieure sans réduction !
2> Après avoir payer 2 fois la même voiture de location à cause de l'incompétence de l'employée du guichet , j ai demandé à plusieurs reprises le remboursement de celle ci.
Malgré la prise en charge du dossier par réclamation Ryanair Rentalcars, ils font les sourds !!
Moralité n allez jamais chez Autovia Pescara!!

J'ai loué un véhicule à l'aéroport de Pescara, du 13 septembre au 18 septembre 2025.on m'a facturé 100€ de plus garanti remboursable par banque. Aujourd'hui 11 octobre j'attend toujours le remboursement. J'ai envoyé un mail on me dit que c'est la banque et pas eux. Les véhicules ne sont pas en ordre.je vous conseille ne LOUÉ JAMAIS CHEZ AUTOVIA PESCARA.

Please note that the deposit is not an actual charge, but a bank pre-authorization that is automatically released by your card-issuing bank after the rental is closed and no extra costs are applied (such as fuel, fines, or damages). Depending on the bank, this process may take up to 30 working days.
If the amount has not yet appeared back in your account, we kindly suggest contacting your bank and providing the pre-authorization date to speed up the verification.

mi hanno fregato
ho preso la macchina in noleggio fine giugno 2025 è non c'era nessuno per la consegna ne per guardare i guai .
la vettura aveva tanti graffi su la placca di immatricolazione non si vedeva niente.
Dopo controllo mio della vettura , sono ritornato allo sportello Autovia è la persona antipatica allo sportello mi ha detto che è tutto ok , che loro sanno di tutti i guai . Ho fatto la strada fino a Montesilvano è arrivando sul posto ho visto che la placca non era piu attaccata su una vite .
Ho dovuto collare ogni giorno perchè facceva caldo
Quando ho ridato la macchina , c'era un nastro collato sulla placca .
dopo qualche settimana mi hanno tolto 80+32 € =112€ per la riparazione
