Great people and great products

This morning starting around 10am est I logged on to 5.11s website to order a new patrol bag to go to work with me. I’ve had a Rush 12 along with a Rush 12 (2.0) and a AMP 72 bag in the past so I knew when it was time to get a new patrol bag I wanted to go back to 5.11. I had moved away from them and went to Evergoods but it never settled the same way as my old 5.11 bags did in the past.

I’ve had my eye on the Rush 24 2.0 Waxed and I noticed it was on sale this morning. I have a work trip to Tx coming up and really wanted the new bag by than so I decided to start a chat session with a CSR from 5.11 and I got a Stephanie C & let me tell you what, she went far & above what I am normally use to from CSRs from other companies! She worked diligently to answer all my questions concerning shipping time and processing time and where the bag would ship from, when I asked if she could get it to me before my flight she didn’t beat around the bush or give me false information, she informed me very directly that as soon as I would place the order she would message the warehouse and get them working on the order ASAP but couldn’t promise anything.

Since I was at work there were some hiccups along the way with placing the order and she had the patience and understanding to continue to assist me even though a good amount of time had passed. We eventually got the bag ordered and I figured that was that & I wouldn’t hear back from her after I sent my order confirmation to her & she informed me she alerted the warehouse. To my surprise 6-7 hrs passed by and I received an email from 5.11 and it was her informing me that the bag/order has been processed and has been shipped out already.

I have ordered from many companies online over the past 5 years and I can tell you, I don’t think I have ever had a CSR as good as Stephanie C! Very very impressed and thank you so much for being an amazing CSR and thank you 5.11 for making products that are built tough and takes a beating and can keep going strong!

PS- Only reason I stopped using my previous bags is bc I had two new officers assigned to my team and they didn’t have proper patrol bags so I gave one my original Rush 12 and the other my Apex bag and my wife still uses the Rush 12 2.0 to this day as she is a nurse and that bags works perfectly for her.

Item was promised, then backordered, promised again, then delayed. Also, item I purchased would have saved me a lot of time if found in one of your retail outlets. Lastly, my LEO discount was not applied.

I have loved 5.11 for years. Mostly boots, pants and accessories.

5.11 makes some great products. Some of which are a little high in my opinion but it is true, you get what you pay for. My recent purchase was as a plate carrier. The only complaint I have is, it did not come with a cummerbund or any type of closure. So until I I purchased the QR panels it was not useable. Other than that, I am heading to the store this afternoon to do some more shopping.

We don't like how prices can increase for clearance items. Should the prices of clearance items go down over time instead of up? Why do prices go up on certain clearance items?

I have been a long time 5.11 customer both in business and off-duty. As a retired police chief and current security executive, I consistently rely on 5.11. My entire wardrobe consists of 5.11 ONLY. 5.11 is well made, high quality and more importantly, long lasting!

I would like to see the 5.11 Defender Flex Slim Pant restocked in various colors. These are the absolute best pants!

My 5.11 Attac A1 flashlight recently stopped working. This wasn’t just any flashlight, either, it was a gift I received after returning from my 4th deployment downrange, making it something I’ve held onto with a lot of sentimental value.

I reached out to 5.11’s customer service simply to ask what my options were for getting it repaired. To my surprise, they didn’t give me the runaround or make the process difficult. Instead, they stepped up and sent me a replacement right away!

That’s what standing behind your product looks like. 5.11 didn’t just talk about quality and customer satisfaction; they backed it up with action. They treated me right, took care of the issue, and made the entire process easy.

In a time when customer service often feels like an afterthought and companies seem more focused on selling products than supporting the people who buy them, this kind of experience really stands out.

The flashlight itself was already a meaningful gift, but the way 5.11 handled the situation made me appreciate the company even more. They earned my respect and reinforced why customer loyalty matters.

5.11 Tactical stands behind its products, and my experience is proof of that. Companies that take care of their customers deserve to be recognized and supported.

What I've purchased so far has been very good quality.

Staff greeted me when I walked through the door. No pressure and made sure to let me know they were there for me of i had any questions. Staff were courteous, knowledgeable, and worked with me.

The customer service 5.11 offers is OUTSTANDING, & TOP NOTCH! They went over and above for me! AMAZING service can't rave about them enough!!

It's the people. Dealing with customer service to ensure my order was properly routed due to some errors on my part was a wonderful experience. They were understanding, knowledgeable and assisted me efficiently to ensure my order was delivered.

I have been wearing 5.11 for decades as a paramedic. Now as an ER nurse I can continue to wear 5.11 scrub addition. Good material with ALL the pockets on the pants. Good cut on the shirts. They feel good and sturdy. These did not go unnoticed by the medics dropping off patients. Only one issue; Where are the belt loops?

Overall i am a 5.11 fan. The website however is not the best. Navigating can be problematic especially if you view an item and then go back. Whenever i do this it always messes up and scrolls me back to the top of the item category and that is annoying.

Sometimes signing into my account is not easy also. And if i hadn't signed in and have items i want to purchase in my cart and go to sign in to buy them it clears my cart.

Your products are great… your website needs to be fixed.

I have a few products from 5.11 and they are all quality products. Pants, shirt, and hat.
I had some trouble with my shirt order. However, once I sent an email in explaining the troubles, they got on it and got me a shirt in the mail right away. In fact they waived the charge because of the issues that I had experienced. Kudos to them for making things right. Quality company!

Excellent pants, but inconsistent sizing

The quality is excellent, the material feels durable, and the pants fit extremely well when the sizing is correct. They are comfortable, warm, and provide good protection from wind.

However, I tried size 32x34 at the store and it fit perfectly. The black color was unavailable, so I ordered the same model in the same 32x34 size online. The pair I received was approximately 2 inches longer than the one I tried at the store.

For pants of the same model and labeled with the same size, that is a major inconsistency. It feels like the inseam length is being estimated rather than properly measured. These are great pants, but 5.11 needs better sizing consistency and quality control.
