Ordered sweatshirt from GHST and immediately got a message from the company stating your order would be shipped out in 3 - 5 business days, no response from customer service, and just left in the dark. No telephone number to contact and no response from email. However about a month and half later I did receive my product.

I ordered 3 dresses from Ghost direct. They were all great quality. The return process was easy and whilst I was charged for delivery and returns (approx £10) I was aware of this prior to ordering as the terms are clear on the website. I did not keep this order but did keep 2 ghost dress from John Lewis as the quality and fit is great.
I wish I’d read trustpilot before purchasing. Poor customer service.
My parcel was delivered to my neighbour’s, although I wasn’t notified. I didn’t receive my parcel until my neighbour brought it over (almost a month after the weddings I’d purchased the dresses for)
Ghost expects customers making returns to pay £10 for postage and ‘handling fees’. I asked if this could be waved considering the delivery issues.
I wouldn’t have minded if Ghost responded that it would not be possible. The response I receive was odd:
- I was told I should have reported my delivery issue within 5 days of delivery (not certain how this is possible considering I didn’t know the parcel had been ‘delivered’)
- I was informed that the parcel was delivered to my home on time (Customer service rep Gilda implied I’m lying)
I will not buy Ghost clothing again.
If I could give zero I would.
Ordered 3 dresses making it a free delivery. Then I get an email saying one is out of stock (but they were quick enough to take the money) and offered 10% off if shopping with them again (not happening) Then parcel arrived and they have charged me for delivery! Due to their error! Now I’m returning one and being charged for the return too AND even if I was near a store it states they do not do in store returns for online! What a complete joke! So I’m £10 out of pocket?! Does any company these days care about customer service or meeting the needs of the customer? I want a refund for charges!
Dreadful customer service and shocking charges when items returned for a refund. I was charged a "restock fee" for the items returned. Will never buy again,
I would give minus 100 stars if I could!! Absolutely shocking customer service and handling of the returns process. I had to send 10+ messages over multiple channels and call their customer service line to chase refunds for 2 separate orders weeks after they have been received in their warehouse. They only replied after I commented publicly on their instagram posts but even then initially lied about starting the refund process on one of the orders. The refunds were only processed multiple emails and instagram comments later. Also after all that they still took the £5 refund processing fee for each order! Even though they processed precisely nothing. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! Also the quality of the dresses definitely are not worth the price tag - I have found much nicer options at Next!
Ordered dress 21st June, returned as sizing small and requested exchange for next size up. Its taken from then to 6th August to issue refund and they have cheek to charge fir return postage!
Shocking service.
Courier for returns was Evri who lost parcel in their warehouse (shock!). Was told I had to wait until their investigation with Evri was complete. Sorry but not my problem as I had proof it landed to their warehouse. Even after that done I still had to chase for refund.
Not using again, too stressful an experience 😪
I would give 0 stars if I could.
I can just about live with slow refunds as long as you get refunded in the end without going through all the stress of online retailer robbing you for item/s which are not cheap.
I can even live with “free” returns which are actually not free.
In my case, I am £120 out of pocket after Ghost claimed they had only received 1 dress out of 2 which I clearly remember packing well for shipping with Evri.
Their Manager simply closed the case after saying that their CCTV had shown that only 1 dress was received 🤷🏼♀️
No offers their side to investigate it further with their nominated courier, EVRI.
Not mentioning the fact that returned parcel had been sitting in the warehouse from 15th June until 13th July (£7 processing charge also applies!)
Appaling and actually lost for words at this point.
Save your £ and order @ John Lewis as other commentators suggested 🫶🏼
Awful awful customer care. I have returned the dress I ordered , 4 weeks later I have heard nothing and no responses to emails either. 200 pounds to come back to me. I will be contacting citizens advice and consumer care next alongside opening a dispute now with them . Highly disappointed with this company. It’s a real shame as I like the style and would have regularly shopped with them for myself and clients had their customer care been much better.
Utterly awful. Will never use them again. I had to chase a refund for over 5 weeks and it’s impossible to speak to anyone. Slow to respond to emails and thoroughly slow & unresponsive.
Awful returns service. I was only able to get a refund 3 and a half weeks after I returned items worth over £200 by opening a credit dispute with my bank, threatening to contact trading standards, begin proceedings in small claims, and forwarding the correspondence I had sent their customer service team to their press enquiries email. Even after getting my refund confirmed I have had no correspondence from them so I have no idea which method worked in the end.
The items I ordered were also really disappointing quality considering the price. Not worth the time, money or effort.
I was concerned when I read the online reviews but I returned items and received a full refund within their designated timescales so I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this company or using them again.
Disgraceful company to deal with.
I ordered 2 garments which did not fit and I returned them through their official service.
My husband helped me pack and seal.
After several weeks we queried why their was no refund.
They claimed that goods had not arrived.
They then advised that goods were received but the order references were wrong, which they were not.
Then they advised that only 1 garment was in the box.
We complained that 2 garments were in the box when they left us if they could only account for 1, it was their error through the haulier or themselves.
They would not move and we are £69 out of pocket.
I note that 93% of customers give a 1 star rating (because we can't give 0 stars)
I note that Touker Sulleyman of Dragons Den is a director of this company which surprises me.
Reading a lot of bad reviews here, I just wanted to share my very positive experience with Ghost. Ordered 4 dresses on the sale, returned 2 and was refunded swiftly. I do love the brand and items quality and cut. I also hope more customers experience smooth order and returns process.
Absolutely shocking customer service. Gilda is very unhelpful and they never pick up their phone.
DO NOT BUY. They will not refund even though you've done nothing wrong.

I’ve ordered a white dress and it came dirty. Had to pay 4.95 for delivery and the same to return their dirty dress they have sent me !!!
Avoid, you’ll be 10£ out of pocket just to try one item on ! I obviously won’t be keeping a dirty dress. There’s no option to return it to one of their stores. Big joke !
Over the last few decades I have spent tens of thousands of pounds buying clothes from Ghost. I’m something of a fan, particularly of the heritage items. I am therefore well aware of what size I should buy. My last purchase was online for the Eleanor dress. I was shocked at what arrived. A poor cut where the gathers for the bustline started halfway up my breasts and yet the entire garment was way too wide for me. And then they have the cheek to charge me for returning their badly cut garment. Ghost just lost a very loyal customer. Never buying from them online again!
