I called EASS in hopes of getting some advice on my employment situation. I was put through to Jamie an Equality Advisor. She asked me brief questions to get more of an understanding on my situation, Then clearly broke down my options. Jamie was very helpful abd made me feel very confident about my situation. Very well mannered and polite. Would highly recommend their service. I am very happy and would like to say a big thank you.

Used the online chat feature for help and advice.
Was helped by an advisor called Whitney.
The service was very helpful and knowledgeable in helping with my query and gave me support and guidance going forward with my issue.
The whole process was extremely straight forward.
I'd advise anyone who needs a service like this or similar, to contact them.

the online help chat is amazing for those who need to know where to go for help next. ashame that if in poor signal area you get booted off too quick so recommend you keep in one area due to this.

This service is crap . No agents who answer the calls or even online just continuing searching for agent and I am 1st in the queue . This is a waste of tax money and called 5 times this morning and they cheeky asked me about how the agent did all 5 timed with no agent at all . These are liers about civil rights and I was recommended by ofcom to call these . They just want free money that's it .

What a joke! No advice given after several attempts to contact these people.
Emails not responded to in sufficient time.
Constantly asking the same questions which have been replied to.
Agreed to call me which did not happen. Rang the representative, no answer, left a message. Never again.

I had a conversation with Umar yesterday regarding some challenges I have been facing with my employer recently, he was extremely helpful and aided me with protecting myself against unfair conduct. Umar gave impartial information that was informative and relevant, this has given me so much reassurance and I am massively grateful for his time.

I spoke with ‘Umar’ today regarding advice relating to Nottingham City Council. Unar was polite, empathetic, considerate and provided impartial advice, explanation around the legislation, showed empathy and understanding. What a really professional and kind man.. I’d certainly hope my feedback to his service is recognised by the organisation in addition to the survey completed .

The caller I got was great and very understanding. I have autism and they took their time to help me understand everything and treat me with compassion which I appreciated with what I am dealing with at work. They were very professional and knowledgeable and had great answers for all my questions. I think they need a bonus or something because it was great service and I am very impressed.

So the advice and guidance received from the service was amazing. In terms of ever getting resolution, this was my last hope.
Without expensive and lengthy court proceedings.
However I was convinced I was being discriminated against as a customer. The company In question was not making reasonable adjustments. The advisor clearly guided me through the points to make, and how to reference legislation.
The template letter was brilliant, I sent to there legal team. I had a response within a day, having been given cut and paste answers previously stating they were investigating and reviewing. In 7 days they had put in measures, acknowledged previous responses were not good enough.
Sometimes you have to take on the big branded companies.

Will definitely seek advice if required in future.
