Digital River stalling payments
We terminated our account with Digital River because of payment delays and the introduction of a new $100 per month fee. They are now holding what they owe us for 180 days. However according to this article in "The Register" there a lot more people worse off than we are. Digital River refuses to send payment shamelessly
We (ID*****0761) use Digital River to sell our software for almost 7 years. The monthly income was sent by Digital River GmbH in the middle of the next month. However, starting from August this year, Digital River GmbH has been deceiving us and delayed all the income from July and later. They even stop respond now.
Cross-border suit is difficult, and perhaps this is why Digital River is so unscrupulous. Let me know if we can join the class action suit, just created an X account @ microjohn_z

Ich werde NIE WIEDER bei Digital River kaufen.
Nachdem ich erst Widerrufen habe, weil die Software bei mir abgestürzt ist. Der Verkäufer sich dessen nichts angekommen hat (Meine persönliche Meinung, da kaufe ich nie wieder). Und Paypal den Käuferschutz nicht hat gelten lassen (sprich funktioniert es nicht, ist die Kohle weg)... habe ich jetzt noch einmal einen Anlauf genommen und die Software installiert.
Ich habe meine Bewertung komplett überarbeitet. Am Anfang ging so gar nichts. Die Software stürzt "unkontrolliert" ab und nix ging mehr.
Mittlerweile scheint es bei einigen Medien zu gehen. Ich kann nicht sagen, warum bei der Einen "ja" und bei der Anderen "nein".
Würde ich das Produkt nochmal kaufen? Nein. Aber jetzt ist es da, Geld gibts nicht zurück (das muss Euch klar sein!) und kann es nicht ändern. Anstatt mich zu ärgern.. nehme ich es jetzt so hin.

Digital River goes bankrupt due to new CEO fraud
Digital River has stolen our sales from July and August 2024, and I fully support Mr. V's view that we should unite and pursue a Class Action Lawsuit. What steps do we need to take to come together on this?
I've heard rumors that they intend to focus solely on large vendors, but I find that hard to believe. How can they maintain the trust of major vendors while scamming hundreds (or even thousands) of smaller vendors who make less than $100k per month?
That doesn’t make sense. The new Barry Kasoff is nothing but a thief. DR claimed 3B$/y which means roughly 200 to 500M$ was stolen by Barry in July August. Certainly, some skillful lawyers would be more than happy to get a fraction of that to conduct our class action.
Software vendors - avoid the new 60 day payouts and $100/month fee
We've been using DR/MyCommerce/ShareIt for well over 10 years for our software sales. The recent decision by the management to increase the payouts from previous 14 days to current 60 days (which they are already violating as the July 2024 payouts still haven't been sent, even after 60 days), and the new $100/month fee + increased per transaction fees (from Simple 7.9%+$0.90, Blended 4.9%+$0.90 into Simple 8.4%+$0.90, Blended - 5.4%+$0.90) make it a necessity to move away from them as a payment provider. You're not getting any better service for the $100/month, it is probably only worse. And also there is the $185/hour fee for more involved support cases. All this combined makes them the most expensive payment provider on the market, with the absolute worst payout period.
The management has made unilateral decision to make these changes so anyone who is still using them as payment gateway, we recommend to remove the payment links leading to their page, as you're effectively bleeding money at this point with no clear indication when the vendors will be paid out and still payment links pouring money into their system.
We've already chosen a different payment provider, but the approval process takes days, so each passing day of pouring money into the DR pit which we may never see, feels like a nightmare.
Vendors - strongly avoid selling your software using MyCommerce / Digital River.
If the management sees the failure of their decision they may reverse it, but by the time that happens, the damage will be irreparable.
Consider also previous shady business by MyCommerce - 8%-10% currency conversion fees (normally it should be around 2%), we've been warned by our customers that they're getting too high currency conversion fees when purchasing in Canadian or Australian dollars, converted from the base price in US dollars, but MyCommerce justified that because they were not getting fair fees for small volume, when in fact that is the money they've been pocketing, without you the vendor participating in the profit. The latest changes to the Master Service Agreement (6.3, dated in the future 16/10/2024) just adds insult to the injury.
Also, note that in the previous control panel of ShareIt, the Simple / Blended fees were selectable by user for individual products and clearly shown. In the new control panel, the option is hidden and automatically set to the more expensive "Simple" one with no clear indication what is being used. The pricing is also not clearly indicated on their website which makes it even more difficult to evaluate what is the pricing you're getting.
To buyers of products which are still sold using MyCommerce / Digital River sales pages - strongly avoid and pressure vendors still using it to change the provider, as you're not being treated fairly especially when doing currency conversion.

MyCommerce does not respect their own terms.
5 (d) Payment. Within 30 calendar days of the end of each calendar month, Digital River will provide a statement through the Administration Interface of all Transactions for which Digital River has received payment in the preceding calendar month (the "Pay Period"). If you do not object in writing (including email) to an invoiced amount or statement within 30 calendar days from the date of such invoice or statement, you shall be deemed to have acknowledged the correctness and waived your right to dispute of that invoice or statement. Digital River will initiate payment of the sum of the Net Purchase Price of those Products for which Digital River processed payment during the Pay Period less (i) any amounts refunded to End Users; less (ii) any amounts subject to a Chargeback; less (iii) any fines or penalties and less (iv) any other Fees or charges due to us under the Agreement within 30 days of your receipt of the statement through the method of payment you select in the Administration Interface. Some methods of payment may be subject to additional fees. If at any time during the Term of this Agreement the amount to be paid to you by Digital River represents a negative number as the amount offset from the Net Purchase Price according to the previous calculation is greater than the Net Purchase Price, we may immediately, on notice to you either hold back further payments to you or terminate this Agreement. Digital River will be entitled to retain its DR Margin and other Fees earned on Products sold and/or distributed by Digital River, even if subsequently returned or canceled, or if such Products or associated Transactions becomes subject to Chargeback.

Bonjour, Comme tout le monde j'ai découvert un prélèvement inconnu de la part de Digital River. Je commence un email pour obtenir le remboursement et je vais pour annuler le prélèvement automatique futur pour limiter les dégâts. C'est très simple, il suffit de cliquer sur annuler pour Digital River sur PayPal. Mais je recherche un peu mieux avant (en fait, je recherche beaucoup...) et découvre qu'il 'agit d'une licence de software récurrente chaque année (logiciel de télésurveillance cameras BlueIris.com). Donc en fait, Blueiris effectue ses prélèvements via Digital River qu'on ne connait pas et que l'on accuse de viol, prélèvements frauduleux, etc.
Probablement, enfin j'espère, tous les commentaires négatifs doivent provenir de cette raison, car PayPal n'aurait certainement pas continuer de travailler avec une telle société.
I ordered VMWARE Fusion and the order…
I ordered VMWARE Fusion and the order was supposed to process within 24 hours. 5 days later and Broadcom says they have not received any order. Many calls and many hours of time and case numbers with both Broadcom and Digital River produced nothing. I am cancelling the order, and based on these other reviews in terms of getting refunds processed, I will submit this as fraud to the credit card company before the window expires.

Fristgerechte Kündigung eines Software-Abo wurde weder in Deutsch noch in Englisch über den Online-Kunden-Service beantwortet oder akzeptiert. Kündigungs-Einschreiben an die auf der Rechnung erwähnte Adresse in Köln kam heute als unzustellbar zurück. Sehr unseriös. Habe das Abbuchungsmandat über PayPal ausser Kraft gesetzt.
Ist mir für zukünftige Aktionen eine Lehre !

Na de koop heb ik de keuze gemaakt voor een Ideal betaling , je wordt dan omgeleid naar een betaal platform en laat dit nu Digital River GMBH zijn. Van de Regiobank vernomen dat Digital River GMBH gebruik maakt van Dropshipping. Het is toegestaan maar het is pure misleiding. Je denkt dat je wat koopt bij een bedrijf XXX , maar dat is blijkbaar niet het geval. Hier volgt de uitleg welke ik van de bank kreeg. Dropshipping is een methode voor orderverwerking waarbij een bedrijf de producten die het verkoopt niet zelf op voorraad houdt. Wanneer een Order en de betaling wordt ontvangen, stuurt de verkoper in dit geval Digital River de aan hun betaalde order door naar een ander bedrijf dat vervolgens het product rechtstreeks levert naar de klant . Digital River is een tussenpersoon tussen de klant en het bedrijf met het product.
De ideal betaling is exclusief Nederlands. De ideal betaling aan DIGITAL RIVER GMBH loopt vervolgens weer via een ander betaling platform Worldline. Dit is bewust het verder wegsluizen van geld.
Echter Digital Rivers gebruikt voor een Ideal betaling een Nederlandse Iban nummer namelijk NL44 DEUT 0496 2863 23 welke uitgegeven is door de Deutsche Bank Nederland. adres

Gezien een Ideal betaling niet terug geboekt kan worden is een waarschuwing hier op zijn plaats. Kies indien producten wilt aanschaffen van een bedrijf XX voor een credit card betaling of Paypall. Bij eventuele leverings problemen heeft een grotere kans dat u uw geld terug krijgt. Bij een Ideal betaling is dat bijna Nihil.
Bij de Deutsche Bank Nederland kan je per email ComplaintspuntNLatDBpuntcom vragen naar de NAW gegevens van de houder van IBAN NL44 DEUT 0496 2863 23. Met deze gegevens kan je bij de gerechtsdeurwaarde een Sommatie Exploot aanvragen.
Een sommatie-exploot is een aanmaning waarin de debiteur gewezen wordt op zijn of haar openstaande verplichting. Uw debiteur krijgt bezoek van een van onze deurwaarders, die een sommatie (in de vorm van een exploot) aan uw debiteur uitreikt. Een sommatie-exploot is een door de deurwaarder uitgebracht stuk, dat wel wat weg heeft van een dagvaarding, waarin de debiteur nogmaals op zijn betaalverplichting wordt gewezen. Het doel van een sommatie-exploot is tweeledig:
In de eerste plaats is het een goede mogelijkheid om in direct contact (bij voorkeur in gesprek) te komen. Een bezoek van de deurwaarder is bewezen effectiever dan het sturen van een brief of het voeren van een telefoongesprek.
Uiteraard zijn er kosten aan verbonden naast de oorspronkelijk hoofdsom . Denk het verlies aan tijd maar ook andere redenen die je heb gemaakt om je geld te vorderen en dat loopt best op. Geef in de aangifte bij de politie aan dat je deze kosten ook vergoed wil hebben.
Blijkbaar worden wel een review geschreven, maar te weinig aangifte gedaan. het Banknummer staat
( nog ) niet op de lijst van probleem gevallen. Maar komt regelmatig voor op internet.
