Couldn’t be happier with our experience - Kia is incredibly knowledgeable and dishes out super helpful, zero judgement advice that made picking a car seat really easy. I had tried to do some research but found a lot of the ERF online communities to be really preachy - that’s absolutely not what Kia is about. She made it so clear and easy to pick the best seat for us. Over the moon with the service, will be back again and only wish I’d found her years ago! 10/10

Kia and the staff here are fantastic. Extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. Our daughter enjoyed playing in the store whilst we discussed car seats. Kia made choosing a car seat (with no obligation) an absolute breeze and provided several demonstrations of seats. Then finally fitted the seat for us. Couldn't ask for a better service, just wish I'd found the store a few years before!

We received such amazing, informative and unbiased research based advice to enable us to confidently choose and buy a car seat and sling carrier for our baby. We had a fantastic experience visiting this knowledgable little shop. We travelled a fair way to get there but I’m so glad we made the journey. Knowing our little arrival will be in the safest car seat is such a relief. We bought the Axkid One 2+ as it can be used from birth. Lucy was so kind and gentle in her approach to explaining how it all worked and she had fantastic knowledge. The team even fitted our car seat the same day for us. Thank you so much for all your help. We really appreciate it.

Went recently due to the need to replace all the car seats after a crash. I’m a dad and very much a novice when it comes to this sort of thing and found the service in valuable! She knew everything possible about which car seats to suit my needs and car. Then fitted the seats! Couldn’t thank her enough.

Kia and all the staff who work at Cariad Babi are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and supportive no matter what you need from them. They are all very down to earth and explain everything in plain and simple language.

I have a sling and newborn reusable nappy set reserved for when I have my first child. Anyone looking to get advice and support on baby products and fitting of associated baby products (car seats, slings and associated accessories) can rely on Cariad Babi to offer brilliant support, guidance and service. We visited Kia for advice about a new car seat for our son. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, Kia is so knowledgeable about the seats and had so much time for us to answer all our questions, try the demo seat and even fit our new seat! She even helped us fix our daughters car seat too! Excellent customer service and a genuinely lovely lady! Thank you 😊

Last Saturday we went for a car seat for our 2 year old who is on a low percentile. We immediately felt extremely welcome by Kia and her team. Initially we wanted a Britax Safeway M, but after some information about various seats we changed our minds and went for an Axkid Minikid 2, one of the reasons was this seat having more options (recline etc). Kia has a high level of knowledge about car seat safety, it is very interesting to listen to her. She does not drive a hard sales, but she speaks from mum to mum, parent to parent. Our new car seat was immediately installed and we are very happy with it! Not only do they educate on car seat safety and sell car seats, this shop also offers beautiful wooden toys, a wide variety of baby slings and carriers, and reusable nappies! Don't worry about your little ones, they have enough toys to keep them entertained whilst mum and dad are car seat shopping! Truly a hidden gem!

What a hidden little gem of a business! We recently went and brought our new car seat along with a fitting/advice appointment. Kia (the owner) is one of the nicest people you could meet, and her colleague (Izzy I think (sorry if I’m wrong!)) was lovely too. Kia is extremely knowledgable and was full of honest, trustworthy advice. She was generous with her time and nothing was too much trouble. We left secure in the knowledge that we had a suitable and safe seat, safely fitted, and reassured that we can seek advice any time we need. Our toddler had a lovely time exploring the resources in the store, which helped us relax and make the most of our time their to listen to advice, and ask questions to enable us to make our own well informed decision. Truly grateful to have this place and Kia only 30 minutes from us, but would gladly travel further just to get here. Currently hoping we have an excuse to go again sometime!

Didn't even realise this shop was here. Excellent service, very knowledgeable and not pushing for a sale, we will definitely be back when we need our next car seat!

I went to get advice on fitting 3 car seats in the back of my car and they were so helpful in finding a solution without pushing a sale. Will definitely go back when I do need to buy another seat. Really recommend a visit as I wasn’t aware there were such shops offering support and unbiased evidence based advice for parents.

A brilliant company, with brilliant staff! I cannot recommend them enough and only wished I had found them sooner. They offered unbiased advice and helped me make the best possible decision for my family without any ‘hard sell’. Kia is lovely and a wonderful teacher so I now feel confident to fit my new car seat to the safest standard and Izzy was great at keeping my little one occupied whilst I was getting the information I needed. A lovely, nurturing and non judgmental environment for parents and offer an amazing service to the community.

Amazing business! Kia is truly an amazing person. The customer service was out of this world. She made sure we knew what we wanted and thoroughly ran us through how to use our seat. We didn't feel pressured to purchase. You can tell this is a business that puts safety above sales. The Sling library is also so helpful. The lady inside the shop gave me brilliant advise regarding a carrier I already own that was not bought from here. They also have a play mat and some toys and books you can use to keep little ones happy whilst you are busy shopping. I would recommend this business to anyone who listens! I hope to visit again soon 😊

Such a wonderful experience and service from Kia and her assistant! I loved the informative discussion before we had a look at the seats and that Kia was willing to work within our price range as well as going the extra mile and testing the seat in the car. Fantastic customer service, we visited the Midlands Car Seat centre and purchased a seat which we could fit easily in my car, but when we wanted to transfer it to my partner's car we really struggled to tether it in and when we contacted Kia she got us a slot straight away and it was actually really tricky to fit due to the car but she managed it!

Great service from the team and loved their ethical story. Have taken the advice from Kia and will be collecting seats on Friday. Great sound advice and demonstrated seats and we trialled the seat we are going to buy was going to get 3 but decided on 2 but higher spec. Due to it being easier to changeover between vehicles and will last our Grandchildren Poppy and Jacob for many years to come.
