I ordered a dress from Alblondon at the end of February and never received it. Every two weeks when I contacted them asking for an update, they kept telling me that the order had been shipped, which was not true.
In April, after waiting for months, I requested a refund. Since then, they have repeatedly told me that the refund request is “being processed by the finance team,” but nothing has happened. Even after my lawyer contacted them by email, they continue sending the same response without actually resolving the issue.
Very disappointing experience and terrible customer service. I do not recommend buying from this site.

I ordered in their £80 sale in March.
I had a confirmation advising 3-5 days for delivery, and then a further email advising they were very busy so would be around 3 weeks. 3 weeks went and no shipping confirmation received.
I then emailed a few times, received robotic replies. Only when i opened a chargeback and commented on the owners instagram did I get a proper reply.
They advised they would send tracking info, at this point, it had been over 4 weeks since I ordered so I asked to just cancel since it was still not sent.
They IGNORED my request and shipped me the dress from their US warehouse (i ordered direct on UK site).
Dress arrived and I forgot about it.
Went on holiday, come back 2 weeks later, FedEx have sent me an import invoice of £95!
They've told FedEx the value of the item is £320 despite me only paying £80 and have said as per their T&Cs customers are liable for import costs.
I ordered from UK and only due to my complaint escalation did they, as a business, opt to ship from US. There should NOT have been any imports involved, it was meant to be sent from ALB UK, not US.
Currently now battling to get a human reply but unfortunately having no luck. Unsure how I will move forward if they continue to ignore me.
Honestly the worst experience I have ever had. Was thrilled to order the dress and has caused me so so much stress and anxiety. Coming back off holiday to a tax bill when i asked to cancel after allowing over 4 weeks to ship.
Do NOT shop from here genuinely zero regard for customers or communication unless you contact the owner - absolutely horrendous service.

BUT FOR THOSE WHO ARE GETTING NOWHERE, ANNE DEMPSEY THE OWNER AND FOUNDER IS ON LINKEDIN - I have just publicly commented on her post to try and get a resolve. I would recommend anyone not getting action does this. She is posting content on her 'wonderful brand', yet review sites like this show how they are ripping off their customers and failing at the basic of the consumer rights act. Next step is going to the courts - they have picked the wrong person this time!

Very disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience. I returned two dresses within the required timeframe and followed all of their return instructions correctly, but I still have not received my refund.
Customer service has been extremely slow and unhelpful. Despite providing proof of return and payment details, I keep getting delayed responses with no proper resolution.
I would not recommend ordering from this company based on my experience. Be very careful when returning items, as getting your money back appears to be a major issue.

Extremely disappointed with Anne Louise Boutique. It has been over a month and I am still waiting for a refund that I was promised. Communication has been poor.
This whole experience has been frustrating, unprofessional, and stressful. Customers should not have to chase a company for weeks just to get money returned to them.

Be very wary being drawn in by lively dresses thst are likely not to be real, part with your good earned money to receive nothing. I am now going to take legal action. Very poor service

Its only been 9 days but after paying for delivery in 3/5 days you would at least expect tracking details.
This is for a family wedding abroad next week and despite contacting customer service several times still nothing....I was actually warned about this company but decided to go with my own opinion as I love the dress ....silly mistake this is not a way to run a business which is a shame as the dresses are beautiful

If i could give less than 1 star i would. This company are scammers! 😡I was told i had got a refund but the money was never transferred back to me. I have given them bank statements to prove the money never hit my account. They pass me from one person to the next and 5 months later still no refund. Don’t buy from them😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

If there was a zero star option, Anne Louise Boutique certainly deserve it. Order placed on 18th March, still not received. No customer contact number to call. WhatsApp and instagram msgs undelivered. Numerous emails sent requesting a full refund and no money has been received, just generic automated responses. Now no choice but to report to Trading Standards for failure to deliver goods within a reasonable timeframe and initiating a chargeback through my bank to return nearly £150! Do NOT use this company, everything is pointing to them being a scam!! AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!

Don't buy from here! Bought a dress end of March, paid next day delivery £5.95...its still not here! They respond with seems to be an AI response. I've even reached out to the founder on linkedin who said she'd help...but hasn't yet!

Absolutely VILE company, stay clear of it! Whilst there customer service is incredibly fast and efficient in helping you purchase, if you return anything (which I did the following day due to sizing) they pretend there warehouse is still looking into it TWO WHOLE MONTHS later with still no view on when I’ll get my £100+ refund for an unworn dress! It’s actually sickening to me how they can not refund a dress that had a tracked delivery, was unworn with all labels still on of course, in this economy where people are struggling and they are still ‘looking into my refund’. Absolutely disgusting! Please be warned.

Not received my items!
Paid next day delivery for 2 dresses and still not received them - keep asking when they will be posted and they keep saying next week. AVOID this company, like everyone else, they take your money and you don't get the items. I am going to go to my bank to do a chargeback.
UPDATE - emailed multiple times before and as per below and totally ignored. Spoke to them on instagram and they were patronising and belittling. Received one dress - cheap polyester and sent it back. NO refund for it and not received the second one.

I am totally disgusted and livid at the shocking customer service. I have been robbed by this vile company. I have returned a wedding dress that did not fit and I have not received my refund. Not only that there is no returns method. I had to email them a million times - there is no human to speak to - I have my post office receipt and still no one has got in touch. Thieves !! I am escalating through my credit card which is taking forever as there is no customer service team. Disgusted and robbed !!

The actual dress is lovely although when it arrived it didn’t fit as a small is a size 8 and I thought it was a 10 so I have gifted it to my Daughter as I could not go through the polava of dealing with this company again. Communication is appalling, which started with no confirmation email even though they had taken them money. They clearly did not have the item in stock and rather than be honest and refund your money they leave you hanging for 5 weeks. I requested a refund on numerous occasions but no joy there either. If you improve your communication and don’t take the money until the item is in stock you would be someone I would buy off again as the dress is really good quality but never again for me as it is too stressful. Be honest with people instead of sending holding emails so you don’t have to refund people and don’t take the money if the item is not in stock
