Am so pleased with my purchase, item is excellent! Turnbull&Thomas were brilliant at staying in touch to keep me informed of updates and delivery was quick and easy!

Also purchased £600 mirror in January

Also purchased £600 mirror in January! After several phone calls as to why it it hadn't shipped, I went online today only to see that there website is down! Looks like they've gone out of business.

Right now we have no way of getting our money back.

Take a huge wide berth from this company Turnbull & Thomas it is scamming for money, we purchased a high ticket item at the beginning of the year 2020 and have been given excuse upon excuse why the item has not been sent out in spite of it still showing as in stock!? they are now no longer answering their phones or messages, our situation has become so desperate that we have now had to request our Credit Card company recover the funds stolen from us... Shame on the Directors of this company we have worked hard to save for this furniture and you have turned our purchasing experience into one massive nightmare!

Recent update I believe this company may of gone out of business one of its directors resigned from Companies House last week and now both its Facebook and Twitter feeds have been switched off take care people..

Late delivery

Appalling customer service. I ordered my goods nearly 6 weeks ago and they still have not been delivered. Despite chasing on email they have not confirmed a delivery date or kept me updated. It remains to be seen when I will actually receive my goods....

Good at responding.

Quick and helpful responses to the emails I sent about estimated delivery and fabric sample. Good communication and service from the people who delivered. Both were very professional and helpful!

Product excellent

Product excellent, however, delivery a bit slow. Ordered chair in 11 January and delivered on 11 February. Had to phone company twice to ask for a delivery date.

Very disappointed ☹️

Very disappointed with products and customer service. I admit I didn’t open the chairs for several weeks as we were renovating but I did inform the company of this. 4 out of the 6 were either dented or marked on the seats. Company stuck to their 3 days to check policy so I’m left with 2 good chairs out of 6. I provided photographic evidence of the packing still on the chairs so they could see they hadn’t been used. Very upset and disappointed

I would hope that customers reading this review can understand why we have not offered a collection a replacement on the chairs. We delivered your chairs over two months ago after we called to arrange your pre Christmas delivery. The chairs are checked prior to delivery and I can categorically confirm that the chairs were not delivered in damaged condition. You have 7 days to check and report any damage and 28 days to return. However please understand that the delivery team have a signed delivery to room of choice and no company would allow a return for damage and stains after 60 days of no contact. This is not the companies fault and if we allowed customers to do this we would not be in business very long. You accepted the delivery and did not state in any email or paperwork that you did not intend to open for over two months, if this was your intention you should have really checked them within our terms and conditions or at the very least signed unchecked then informed us of your intentions which in response we would have advised you checked them before storing prior to decorating. I believe your review to be very unfair and damaging when the fault this time clearly lies with you and I would hope potential customers reading your account would find it hard to believe that chairs delivered on a pre arranged delivery have not been checked for over 60 days. The images provided in the email only add to our believe that the chairs have more than likely been damaged whilst in your care for the last two months. The marks and rips in the outer packaging would cause concern and our drivers would be likely to report this to our QC team before loading to avoid damages leaving the warehouse.

I am sorry we cannot assist you further and would advise that you would never arrange a delivery with any company two months prior to your intention to use any product let alone not check them and quite happily sign for the delivery without checking.
