Went for the 7 day free trial then realised it wasn’t for me however they charged me £59.99 in the first 48 hours and the app is rubbish

want to warn others about my experience with ChatEye. I initially signed up for what was clearly labeled as a seven-day free trial. However, the platform automatically switched me to an annual subscription and charged me 69,99 euros without respecting the trial period I had chosen.

I feel this is a deceptive practice and not what I agreed to. Despite reaching out for a refund, I have not been able to recover my money. I want to share this so that others are aware and can avoid falling into the same trap.

Just don’t download. They’ll charge you within “free trial period” before you cancel, for me it was for an expensive yearly subscription. Poor sleep score nights are nights I have good sleep, nights I have poor sleep (including literally very consciously awake for hours at a time with Apple Watch on) record as perfect night sleep.
Just don’t do it. It’s a scam. I even gave it a year go following being ripped off and charged before ending of trial period.

Completely dissatisfied with Shut Eye for not giving me a refund via Apple for a subscription that I never had!!! Terrible application and customer service,there is none, never used this app and was charged 59.99 for a subscription that I never had, Shut eye is the worse, do not have anything to do with it or you will be charged. Never used it and they still managed to charged me, cannot get a hold of them because they don’t have a number!!!D NOT USE THIS if you don’t want to get ripped off

Scam! They advertise 7-day trial, but charge you immediately and ignore requests for a refund.

The company is a scam it is not a free trial. Do not download. You will be billed and it is not worth it.

It did not record my sleep properly. They should have given a free trial. A total waste of a months subscription fee.

On the recording you clearly hear me moaning/mumbling and they called it snoring! Then says I am pausing in my sleep for up to 30 seconds. How do I know that's legit if the snoring is off base.

I have been trying to find when my subscription ends so I could cancel. There is no way to find this info. I got no notice that the subscription was up for renewal until after they charged me. I cancelled my subscription but the won't cancel for a full year. Bad app!

I signed up for the 7 day free trial and cancelled jt after 3 days and deleted the app but they have just taken 54.99 from my account. I have got in touch with PayPal and they are investigating. Scam !!!!

I used it for one night on the free 7 day trial and didn’t feel it did what it was meant to
Then $49-99 was deducted from my account before the 7 day free trial was up
Have emailed them 3 times. No respite and no refund. What can I do now??

1 year with a 7 day free trial....

After 1 day (1 day of the free trail) I deleted the the subscription, (did not work for me, because my of old phone could and bad microphone) BUT they will still charge for a full year! Where is the free trial?

This is a BIG scam. Not accurate at all. Was awake most of the night tossing and turning and it gave me excellent sleep "keep up the good work!" I signed up for the 7 day free trial and they charged me $59.99 for a year subscription. Have been trying to get a refund but have gotten no where so far. Will continue to post negative reviews until they return my $59.99. Shame on them!

first says the my sleep cycle are good but only said I had 47 minutes of REM sleep in 4 day when 1.5 to 2 hrs a night is average so that shouldn't be a good sleep cycle if a person had that little amount of REM sleep in a 4 day period they would be suffering from the effect of too little REM sleep I think the app is just a tool to trick people into buying more cpap machines

Bogus data. Will lie awake listening to a 90 minute story and the app says I fell asleep in 13 minutes. will get up to pee 2 - 3 times ... and speak to the phone "I am awake at 1:23 " and the app has me in a sound sleep. I do find the story's and music helpful

Charging without a subscription, do not download this app.
Apart from the fact that this app is useless it charges you for a subscription even if it is inactive. This is a total scam do not download

Skip The 7 day trial and including more expensive options. Complete waste of time.

Quite disappointed with this app.
Snoring:
app shows 10 to 20 recordings of supposed snoring, but when I play back the recording, only 2 or 3 will have recorded actual snoring.

Sleep time:
App never accurately records sleep time. The "fall asleep time" was never accurate. Also the deep sleep-light sleep-awake times were usually wrong. Being 77 years old, I usually have to wake up to go to the bathroom. The sleep graph seldom recognized this.

There are other weaknesses as well, but these are the most egregious.

Don't bother using this app.

Disappointed. My last 4 days are "Some data may be lost." Apparently, ALL my data is lost every night. Even though my device never loses power. Remains plugged in. Wish I hadn't signed up for a year!!!! Wasted.

In my sleep something said married lady lost her finger
