This was my first surgical procedure and I was nervous about travelling abroad, but I’m so glad I chose MedAway. I found many other clinics in Turkey didn’t allow you to choose your surgeon, which was very important to me and one of the main reasons I went with MedAway.

The surgery centre (Orion) was modern and clean, nurses were available (busy at times but came once I buzzed), and my aftercare was excellent — I had daily visits from my nurses at the hotel and fast responses through the group chat. The team genuinely cares and even helped me find my post-surgery scar gel when pharmacies were out of stock.

There was no upselling — the price agreed beforehand was exactly what I paid.

There’s definitely a language barrier with some staff, but communication was always manageable. I did find I was given a lot pre surgery documents to sign by a nurse with limited English but not encouraged to read them in full - I think this should be changed to put patients at ease.

The clinic is busy, so don’t expect Harley Street-style service, but you will get great care, transparent pricing, and fantastic results.

I’m now 12 weeks post-op, and the aftercare team still checks in regularly on WhatsApp. I’m healing beautifully and my results are better than I imagined I would highly recommend MedAway.

So I wanted an uplift on my breasts very scary to chose the right hospital in another country medaway came recommenced to me and I highly recommend then again to anyone the care is there even down to when you come home the after team is great if your looking for surgery go no further than medaway

The transport was good. The co-ordinators were nice, the girl I had was great. My surgeon Dr. Faryal was absolutely amazing and was thorough in her questions, putting my Health first and really assessing what I needed done. The nurses had limited English which was to be expected but I used a translator app to help with that. They were hit and miss with being ok to really lovely. There was a few nurses that were very supportive and helpful. Extremely happy with my results being 2 weeks post op today. You do need to make sure you consider taking more money with you as I had to have a blood transfusion after and before I had to pay for a Mammogram as my Nan had a history of breast cancer and these were extra but overall very good experience.

Experience was spot on from start to finish, the care the nurses the patient coordinator and dr salami was amazing came first thing the next morning to check if everything was ok and again before I flew back home. The scaring under my boobs you can hardly see such an amazing job. Hospital and hotel was 10/10.

I returned in 18th sept from having breast augmentation & uplift. I have to say I had an amazing experience with Medaway & all the staff have been amazing from start to present. The take care of all you needs & guide u along the way. My anxiety was calmed by them all. Dr Freya was so compassionate & explains procedure well. I am post op 6 weeks & they still check in see how I am healing. I have recommended them to many friends & will deffo be using them again in the future. I have been really impressed with Medaway UK. The whole team is really friendly. I was looked after by Mr Emirhan Oz who is just fantastic. Everything was organised really quickly and speedily. I got in touch approximately 10 days before the procedure and he got everything organised in time.

Everything in Turkey also ran fairly smoothly. The transfers were well organised and quick. The transfer manager Mohammad was also great.

Slight hiccup with the hotel, which they sorted out immediately.

Just one small nitpick. I wasn't made aware that the actual procedure is only overseen by a surgeon (who is a doctor) and the work is done by a team of nurse practioners. Nothing against them, they were great. Would just have liked to have known this in advance. Maybe this is procedure dependent.

Overall, really good experience. Can't go wrong with choosing them.

Highly recommend no one uses this company for surgery in Turkey! Just take more money off you when get there and they don’t even do surgeries properly you were promised. The after care is ever worse!

My experience with rhinoplasty surgery was great the treatment at the hospital, the hotel everything was 10/10 the only inconvenience not all the members from staff speak English but they tried their best.

It’s a smooth process from beginning to end. I travelled alone, was met at the airport, taken by their luxury taxi to the hospital, where I was assessed for surgery.

Everyone was professional, friendly and kind.

After surgery, the team checked in on me regularly, while at the hotel. I even had time to see the beautiful Istanbul.

I had my rhinoplasty 5 months ago with MedAway, and I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. The team took great care of me — they were informative, attentive, and always quick to answer any questions I had, not just before and during my treatment but even now, months later.

I’m really happy with my results — it’s exactly what I wanted. The surgeon worked closely with me to make sure everything was just right. There was always a translator or English-speaking staff available whenever I needed to discuss anything, which made the whole process much smoother.

Before surgery, I was given all the necessary medical checks and plenty of medication to help with recovery. I also had a final appointment with the surgeon when my cast was removed, where she checked everything was healing well and showed me the massage techniques to use in the following days and weeks.

Overall, I felt very well looked after from start to finish and would definitely recommend MedAway to anyone considering rhinoplasty abroad.

I loved the whole experience from start to finish. Getting picked up from the airport to taking back to the airport. The staff was all amazing & friendly! The night of my surgery was in every hour to check on me. & I couldn’t be more pleased with my results! Better than expected! I can’t recommend medaway enough! Home 3 weeks now & still text me to see how I am & how I’m feeling.

From the initial enquiry Medway was very attentive. Explaining everything fully. The transport to the clinic was 5*.
The clinic was very clean, and the staff very friendly. My surgeon was very truthful as to the amount of surgery I wanted in one go. Later I thanked him for that decision as I wouldn’t have been able to get around as easily.

From the very Moment I stepped out of the Airport 🛫, a VIP Taxi took me to a 5 🌟 Hotel 🏨, the next day, I started my Hair Transplant Procedure, everything went well, I felt very Welcome 🙏 in the Hospital and the Hotel 🏨, met with warmth by staff, would highly Recommend to Friends, Family, Neighbours and Acquaintances!

Hi again still no refund for the job they didn’t finish just back and forth messaging with the supervisor director tells me he’s going to fine out and then ignores me or replies with the same answer he has done already! Owed 1800 when really I should be refunded the whole lot due to a bodged job that I can provide proof of!

From the moment I arrived, everything was easy. I had plenty of information on where to go and what to do to be picked up by the transfer department.

Once I arrived at the hospital, I was shown to my room straight away. All the nurses and Drs at orion Hospital were fantastic, and it really showed that my health was the priority throughout the whole process. Even with the language barrier, you all made me feel safe! Better care there than health service back in the UK.

Once taken to the Delta hotel again, the staff was very helpful and polite, and we still felt very safe.

My whole journey from start to finish was exceptional, and I have no complaints other than the food at the hospital was not good 😂.

I really do appreciate everything Dr Selami and the nurses at Orion have done for me. Its them who deserve all the credit.

Recently underwent a hair transplant using MedAway. Nothing to fault at all! A very nervous thing to be going through when it’s so important to you, but
Stefa and the staff were all so easy to talk to, made me and my partner feel so welcome, absolutely no stress for the entire journey or treatment. Everyone was on hand when needed. 5* from me. Highly recommended!

In Aug I flew to Medway for breast reduction surgery. The communication from day one was amazing. The surgery, recovery and aftercare was great. And my results are amazing. I couldn’t recommend them enough.

The whole process leading up to the procedure was very easy. All I had to do was book my flights and everything else from transport, hotel, meals etc was sorted out for me. They even sent me a video of someone at the airport walking to where I needed to go to get picked up

I was keen to do LASIK eye surgery so bumped onto medway online. Based in Istanbul Turkey. UK prices are 3 or 4 times more.

Got a quote for $1500 and paid $600 deposit to secure a discount price. Accommodation and transfer included.

There was miscommunication on my arrival. My taxi pickup was nowhere to be seen with a sign. Came out of the airport and no one waiting. It was difficult to get back inside the airport. I didn't have roaming so I was stranded. Only place to buy a sim was inside the airport. Language barrier is massive. Managed to go back to airport, had to withdraw via atm to purchase a sim card for $50.

Managed to get intouch with the organisers and they directed me towards a tiny makeshift stand by the road for my transfer. 45mins drive. Got dropped off on the side of the hotel at 11am seemed like everything was closed. Called organisers with no responses. Managed to find the entrance and eventually check in. Hotel was different from the initial one before my trip. Confusion, lost in different country arriving at midnight with no one waiting is an adventure in itself.

My booking was for 5 days. First 2 days my appointment was postponed. Breakfast is included in the hotel. There are nearby shops.

Eventually went for my appointment on day 3. "Equipment was broken" really?!
Sefa was my translator. Awesome guy! English is good! Answered my questions, helped me fill in forms. He took care of me.

Some eye tests were done and I was recommended another procedure to enhance my cornea. Price changed beyond my budget and what I was prepared for. There was some discount and did the procedure.

Sefa had to go to another client. I got a different interpreter. The doctors will wear their heart on their sleeves for the patient and will advise accordingly. I'm very sensitive when it comes to my eyes and it was abit uncomfortable with clamps on the eyelids starring at a red/green light and cold eyedrops being dropped without any warning. I tried to relax. Sometimes my eyes moved but was asked to stare at the light. 20 to 30mins each eye.

Concluded the procedure. Was given alien looking plastic screens to protect my eyes and asked to protect my eyes from light. Was recommend 2 sets of eyedrops one for 2 hours. One for 4 hours for antibiotics to prevent infections. Bought it for $50 no reciept. Online price is $7 couldn't wait to get back and just have a rest.

Went for check up day 4. Driver was on time Sefa was there as well. Cool guys!

People were generally nice and friendly. It's busy at the private hospital. It's modern. Lots of consent forms to fill in. The doctors will advise accordingly but expect prices to change.
Plenty of choices for hotel buffet. Plus fresh omelette. Hotel reception are helpful and friendly. English is good. Language barrier is massive in public.

Was recommended to go back after 5 months, With a discount. The cost of two trips and 2 procedure is same as price for one in UK so not sure if my initial intention for saving half the price feom UK is worth it. It's not half anymore 😁 might decide to keep my glasses and go for another different medical procedure.
You go once. You will go again. I get the feeling 2 or 3 more times even if it's not for same medical procedure.

Because schedule changed I was hoping for sightseeing day 3 and 4 but had to cancel with no refund. Maybe next time.

Recently used MedAway to have a gastric sleeve done. I was extremely happy with the treatment and help I received and the care given. The hospital I was taken too was extremely professional and very caring. The surgeon who worked on me was amazing and I literally had zero pain.
