Do NOT buy directly from Little Mistress
The issue regarding refunds has been going on for years. I purchased a handbag a few years ago and returned it almost immediately as it was not suitable. Many emails were completely ignored and in the end I gave up remaining out of pocket for the item to this day! If you wish to purchase Little Mistress items buy through an online mail order Company such as Simply Be or Freemans. Personally I will never buy from them again which is a great pity as their dresses are lovely. As far as I am concerned they have stolen my money.

As many others have commented, the refund process has been an absolute joke. I ordered a dress in April and returned it almost immediately, in April. We are now almost in June and I have still not received a refund or confirmation of the return. I have e-mailed several times - most of which have been ignored but some to say the refund can take up to 15 business days (which it has been). Customer communications are terrible. I will never order from them again nor will I recommend them to anyone.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SHOP. A month a go i ordedred a dress the dress came it was nice but it did not suite me so i returned the item. The item cost £18 I was told £6 would be taken off to return the item. All know i am still waiting for a refund. I know its not a lot of money but still they are quick enough to take my money. I orded the item in April we are nearly at the end of May 2026. I have sent a few emails i got i response back to say the item as been recieved and the refund should take 10 days.

Poor quality items and then when you return they charge a ridiculous fee. Avoid buying from them!

Ce site est une arnaque! colis reçu par dessus mon portail sans passage physique du livreur! le paquet était ouvert au cutter et la robe visiblement essayé par quelqu'un d'autre, replacé en boule dans le sac plastique. J'en ai demandé le renvoi et le remboursement, plus une photo de l'état du paquet suite à la demande de retour. je n'ai toujours pas reçu l'étiquette permettant de renvoyer le paquet! Personne ne répond plus à mes mails!
Very slow returns process
Very slow returns process with no communication. Usually companies send you an email acknowledging that a return has been received at least, and usually informing you when the refund will be received or next steps. I heard absolutely nothing for an entire month and was at the point of thinking it had been lost when I finally got an email saying the refund had been processed and would be with me within 10 days.
If you're charging an extortionate £6 return fee, I expect better service than this in return for it.
Terrible customer regard
Not happy. I bought in good faith from Debenhams and then discovered that actually I was being sent items directly from this outfit, from whom I would never have purchased directly. Returned items on 8th December, received by them on 10th December. Two chase ups. one AI template customer service response, and I still have no refund, as apparently they need 15 working days to process - which would take it to 31st December with the holiday period. I have raised a dispute with Klarna, and will be escalating to Debenhams in due course. What a way for a business to carry on. It’s like buying from China off Tiktok.
Terribble customer relations
I ordered a jumpsuit from this company but had to return as it was,nt suitable for me.I knew there was £6 to pay to return but better get some money back than keep a suit that was,nt for me.I requested a return from LM and was directed to their website to generate a return code/label.I downloaded the label and QR code and put the label on the parcel took it along to the post office where they scanned the package and gave me the proof of posting receipt.I have now waited 5 weeks with no response from L.M.4 emails later and still nothing.I have asked Paypal for help but they say the return address was not valid,and the parcel is nowhere to be seen.How is that my fault?it was L.M. website that generated the address label.I was under the impression that if you have a proof of posting receipt that was your insurance.How is this company getting away with this ,at least they should have the good manners to reply to its customers.So it looks like I,ve paid them £27.60 for absolutely nothing.

I ordered an in stock dress 26/10/2025, paid in full. The item immediately went out of stock, and showing as pre-order!
I have contacted the company several times to request the order be cancelled and refunded, with absolutely no response - absolutely appalling!
So I’m currently out of pocket, yes sign of the item I paid for and I had to purchase a different dress from a far more reputable retailer.
Wish I’d read the reviews first, I would not recommend at all!

Sent back a dress after it was too big within days of receiving the order. Paid via Klarna and they rejected the return and now they are non contactable. I have not received the dress back and no payment refund. Would never buy from them again

I return a dress over 3 months with the tags on and then get in an email 2 months ago to say the labels weren't on the dress and it smelt of perfume!
The dress was never worn and had labels on when I sent it back, the perfume will be because it was hung up in my wardrobe as it was creased so badly and needed hanging up and I also wear strong perfume.
I then get an email back eventually saying they will be returning, a month later still no dress back.
They hide behind emails don't respond back and no customer service number as they probably would be inundated with complaints.
I will be taking this further as 3 months is disgraceful with no refund for an item that was tampered with at there end

i ordered two seperate orders from this company, one was faulty and one was too small, i requested a refund on both which took a while and was not an easy process as one was showing i had no orders (which i clearly had) so had no way of doing the refund except to email (which took forever for a response) so luckily i paid by my credit card, so i disputed this and got my refund for one item back that way, i am still waiting on my other refund, i have emailed several times chasing this but am not getting any replies, this company is awful i will certainly not be purchasing any items from them again, just beware if you are and if you do use a credit card so at least you can dispute this, which i am now going to have to do for my other refund.

I never ever write reviews but felt it had too!!
I ordered 3 dresses worth of around £200.
I returned them all via Royal Mail on 10th October, using the tracking number I can see they received the parcel on 13th October.
I emailed them chasing this many, many times now & I’ve had one reply so far on 17th October saying that there’s a 14 day window from when they receive the parcel for refund to be processed (this is day 15 since you’ve received it & day 18 since I sent it back).
I have since sent 4 further emails for an update on this even this morning and yet still NO reply, NO refund, NO confirmation that the refund is even on its way.
I completely understand that things take time, but appreciate a response of acknowledgment via email!!! And after seeing a few reviews on here with the same complaints I would avoid at all costs! I will never, ever order again.

Quick to charge, slow to refund
Ordered 2 items from this company via Dorothy Perkins. Communication regarding delivery was minimal but not sure if this was LM or DP that were responsible for this. Of the 2 items ordered one was fine, the other was awful so returned. The returns form included in the package was of such poor quality I couldn't even make out the order number, so had to contact them for this. I then had to wait (and am STILL waiting) 27 days for the refund to be issued despite their t's and c's stating this will be processed in 14 days of receiving the item back. I have sent multiple emails and been fobbed off and ignored, and to make things worse I will be charged for the return which will be deducted from my refund (when I eventually receive it).
