Without doubt a superb bike. I went out on it for the first time and was delighted. I have a bike induced accident leaving me with 5 breaks in my right leg. I initially purchased a Mirider which I found quite astonishing for its size but did not particularly enjoy the cycling experience. The Gocycle is in a different league and my cycling experience is wonderful.
Apart from anything its appearance is great and its performance is excellent.
I have purchased a foldable bike not because I want or need one but because I am physically able to get on and off of one. Nevertheless, the Gocycle is easier to fold up than the Mirider.
What a bike ! fortunately for me I was able to afford this expensive bike .

Excellent customer service. I had a couple of things missing from my order and Gocycle and they were amazing at sending them out the very nice day. My Gocycle arrived very well-packed with a couple of days of ordering. Easy to follow set-up instructions that include video demos. I love the bike.

Overall, this bike is brilliant !
It's lightweight enough to easily carry up/down stairs or chuck in a car.
The custom ride modes makes riding it hilarious fun when put in a custom 'rocket mode' but it's super easy to ride great distances with only a gentle assist.
It's easy to fold to about a doorway width and keep out of the way (folding pedals really help too).
I did order mine with a rear rack, front light and folding lock which were all pretty easy to install. So besides just cycling for fun it has some added night-time safety and utility. For farmer's market runs I use a waterproof Ortlieb basket on the back which fits perfectly after some out-of-the-box adjusting (I highly recommend this btw) and I ordered a KlickFix vertical mount for the front so I can add a whole range of accessories (I like the versatility of a wire basket there myself).
The only minus is the elastic band phone mount as that's just crap (especially considering the premium price on this bike). I ordered a RAM 1" ball mount (large size to fit the 1.5inch diameter post) that I combined with a Quad lock. This actually looks like it belongs (same finish) and it also opens up a whole lot of other easy-mountable options. I can now securely fit my phone horizontally or vertically AND still see the assist/battery readout (handy for seeing if the bike is on or not too). For the next iteration of this bike I'd highly recommend having that as an option or welding one on as standard.

My communication back and forth prior to my purchase was exactly what I needed to confirm that this was the correct route for me to take with my e-bike purchase. Not only was the communication great but the process of ordering, financing and delivery was very quick and easy.

I have bought a new battery in April and she didn’t work a long time so I have to pay again à new battery just 4 months later

First, when contacting the sales team for information, primarily and initially by email, Bori and the team were very responsive with exactly the information I needed. When I was making an appointment Bori took pains to make sure I knew it was her day off and told me who to contact. Richard, John and the team gave me excellent customer service, including assisting and waiting while my US bank verified my payment. Richard was very helpful and knowledgeable in preparing me and my new bike for the road.
Days later, when I had a flat tire that I couldn't inflate, the service crew Rachel, Brian and especially Luke, assisted me with expertise and aplomb. Luke then gave me even more information about how to effectively use the bike, adding to the information I had already received from Richard a few days before.
The expertise and customer care is exceptional. This is a bike shop that truly lives up it's name.

Customer service very helpful and actually phoned me several times during a fault on the shipping companys side.
The bike is very useful as a city bike, but all the proprietary components mean that there is very little you or your local bike shop can do when things go wrong.
Being in a country with no Gocycle dealers is therefore a hassle as the bike has to be shipped to the Netherlands whenever there's something that needs adjusting or repair.
Therefore I'll caution anyone who doesn't have a dealer nearby or don't have the budget to carry increased servicing costs (relative to brands using more standard components).

Support of my GoCycle G4 purchase has been efficient and the product is top quality. My learning curve is slower. New to electric bikes and app features. Some YouTube training might help with ramping up to speed faster. Some of the add-ons are essential so I feel that should come with the bike, not accessories. Disappointed in the smart phone attachment.

Very fast delivery. Very easy assembly. I have only had it for two days. Too early to review the quality and durability, but appears to be very well made.

Sparq were great preparing and delivering the bike and i LOVE IT. I have been out most days getting a feel for the bike and really finding it so handy and easy to use. The foldability is awesome and makes transporting it to and from the car, into buildings etc a breeze.

Alexis, at San Diego Electric Bike in Solana Beach, did an excellent job of helping me test ride, buy, and set up my Gocyle. I highly recommend doing business with Alexis.
