The experience of working with Gitaji was simply great. I tend to get anxious over minor things. Gitaji gave me a very patient hearing and kept up with my pace. She did not lose patience even when I shouted at her in anxiety. She's amazing and sweet. She's technologically very strong. And communicates well. God bless her forever.

Gitaji is a very organised and good accountability partner. I learnt patience, good focus and punctuality during my past month with her. Am truly amazed by her technical knowledge, detailed focus and communication skills and am looking forward to learn and adapt more from her. Gita Ma'am, was my first Boss, when I joined BPCL. She was heading the Computer department in a very senior position, but she was down to earth and grounded in her approach. I was freshly out of college and new to the corporate world.
The initial formative years of my career were under her wing.
She was truly an amazing leader, with an eagle eye view as well as eye for details, reprimanding her team privately, appreciating and applauding in public and always with the team through tough deadlines as well as celebrations. She gave a high level of commitment and involvement to see that we delivered our best as a team.

She encouraged me to go beyond my limits and stretch my boundaries. The life lessons that she taught have stayed with me now for around 3 decades of my career with BPCL, as i progressed in my career to a lead position

Besides being so professional and thorough on the official front, she had tremendous energy and enthusiasm for cultural and other outbound activities. She was there in cultural programs, get-togethers, family functions, sports events, festivities, name it and Ma'am would be there taking part as well as motivating her team to participate.

Even after her superannuation, she has continued with the same if not more zeal !
Through her talks, personal coaching and books she is now a lighthouse for young professionals.

I (an ex employee of BPCL), was very fortunate to have Madam Gita Ramachandran as my Department Head in BPCL. More than a Dy. General Manager to her subordinates, she was a coach and mentor to all of us.

Her leadership style was was leading by setting her own example. She always walked her talk. Where most of IT professionals normally get glued to their systems and monitor, Madam Gita taught us life skills of improving our communication, networking along with creativity and innovation.
