The most dreadful breakfast ever . Hard to know where to start ! Family of six expecting a good breakfast . Waited 40 minutes from ordering and had to chase up the order . My wife’s breakfast was stone cold , sent it back , my granddaughter did not get what she ordered , she was told it was not available 40 minutes after paying for it ! My breakfast was only half what I paid for and dry as sticks, bacon just fat and like shoe leather, egg overcooked etc . The overall quality of all the ingredients was very poor . The only redeeming thing was that when we complained ( politely) the manager refunded the food ( not the drinks ) . However that was beside the point as the morning was ruined and we all left very unhappy . Never again .

I clearly ordered 2 large breakfasts & was served 1 large & 1 small...when it arrived the eggs were 'snotty'...simply uncooked....the toast was a single slice of the cheapest bread youve ever seen... The bacon was tougher than the knife used to attempt to cut through it & actually was so tough it broke apart rather than being sliced....The portion of beans was sooooo small!...yet it was probably not a bad thinv as they were COLD & the 'Americano' tasted foul & cheap.
This is a shame because 10 years or so ago i used to live nearby and we enjoyed many a breakfast here....just noticed on my peripheral that mistakes were happening all over the place...clearly inept staff that are either not intelligent or who knows, professional enough to either confirm an order or take onboard simple instructions ....YUCK!!! AVOID!!!!

Absolutely excellent Customer service regarding my Bracelet ..Andrea kept me informed throughout the whole process .. everyone is so friendly at Tolgus. We go every year when we are over that way. Sadly not this year though . Thank you so much .

What a disastrous experience taken there to look around by family and to have a bit of lunch (I am 83 and we are all local). We went to the Restaurant which was rather busy managed to find a table which we cleaned ourselves got a highchair and had to scrub that as it was filthy although it was one we fetched not one from a table where people had been eating.

My son ordered the food and a jug of water and three glasses whilst his wife and myself sorted out the carnage. I asked for clean knives as the ones I looked at were dirty yes she went and got some and promptly put them back in the container on top of the dirty ones. It took three requests and nearly an hour to get a drink of water there was no sign of food after yet another half an hour so we asked when we could expect to eat were told at least another 25 to 30 minutes in a very flippant way. After a while we asked another waitress and she said the same so we decided could not wait any longer.

There were no apologies and we felt like it was well if you don't like don't stay then. Staff attitude was not acceptable. This is such a shame as Cornwall Gold is a lovely set up but let down by the restaurant I have visited many times and certainly not been treated like this. I feel that the hygiene needs to be looked at, the attitude and ability of the staff as well.

I will be visiting again as it is another daughter-in- laws favourite place for coffee and cake as we only live about five minutes away.

Waited over an hour for 2 kids meals, kitchen obviously can't cope when busy. Good attraction to visit as long as you don't want to eat.

Taking the tour is a must,made the visit more enjoyable, a great experience, len the tour guide very knowledgeable and humour's. Good choice of food in the clean and spacious restaurant, staff very friendly and helpful

Took a ring in for repair and resizing after it was chewed up at another jeweller! Dave in the workshop did an absolutely amazing job at restoring the ring to the right finish and right size! Would recommend him to anyone that needs their jewellery working on! 10/10
