Terrible customer service, terrible website UX. And worst of all, they took a random unauthorised payment two months after I had cancelled my subscription. After finally getting in contact with someone they asked to see my cancellation email, ironically their platform doesn’t send cancellation emails, nor did it ever send me one to tell me I had subscribed in the first place when I placed just one order. It just suddenly turned itself into a subscription with no notice. There is no communication about when deliveries arrive either. Anyway, I am down almost £80 right now with nothing to show for it and no way of getting a refund for something I didn’t ask for in the first place, nor received anyway.

Confirming that I have not received a refund still, and the subsequent claim I raised via my credit card company was declined as I could not provide evidence of there being a subscription, being able to manage my account, or cancelling a subscription as there was no account management screen, no automated emails to confirm any action and ignored emails from me requesting screenshots of this being visible for me. Everything seems to have been done manually in the back-end without any front-end customer UX. So as off 22nd January 2026, I am still down £75.40 for an system erroneous order placed on 5th November 2025... with not having received any products (not that I wanted any).

- believe me and other users who tell you they take unauthorized payments
- portion size is ok but the food is a hit or a miss
- i asked for dairy free options but was given 4 dairy meals
- was promised free delivery but then charged an unncessary amount for delivery
- box comes in a random amaozon box with no outside protection from weather
- the founder of the company pretends to "connect you with assistance" to only speak himself ; i respect the hustle but lets not dupe customers.

Food is great but unapproved payments are quite a problem. Fake promises of refunds are a norm... if you wish to try them, use virtual card which you can delete at any time. Using normal credit card is bad idea as those subscriptions are unstoppable...

I can’t recommend Bozu enough! The food was absolutely amazing, fresh, flavourful, and delivered right on time. As someone who works out twice a day and works a 9–5 job, this service has been a total game changer for me. It saves so much time without compromising on quality. The portion sizes are perfect too. I was left feeling full and completely satisfied after every meal. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for convenient, healthy, and delicious meals!

I tried Bozu for 2 weeks ordering 2 meal plans the food was decen my quality better than a lot of Meal preps I’ve used in the past.
The website and customer service though are terrible, it is difficult to make changes to your plans in terms of meals, delivery frequency and how many meals you want.
Due to the issues on the website I cancelled my subscriptions which was very difficult to do, since then I have been charged 3 additional times, been speaking over WhatsApp with customer service who ensure me I will be receiving refunds, I have received 1 of the 3 refunds so far and this has been nearly 3 weeks, really unhappy with them.
Because the food was good I was going to give it another go in January but this has completely put me off,
Good company if you want food never want to make changes to your order and never want to stop using them, if not I would strongly avoid them

I’ve been using Bozu for almost a year now and have had an overall great experience. I’ve tried several other meal prep companies, and I can confidently say Bozu stands out when it comes to food quality—you genuinely look forward to your meals. The difference in taste and freshness is noticeable, and no other service I’ve used comes close.
That said, there are a few areas where Bozu is still growing. Some reviews have mentioned issues with payments or administrative hiccups, and I’ve experienced a bit of that myself. However, I understand they’re a small company still finding their footing. It seems they intentionally keep the admin team lean to manage costs, and that’s reflected in the pricing. While Bozu may be slightly more expensive than other meal prep services, the quality of the food more than justifies the cost. If other companies offered food at this level, they’d likely charge much more.
Overall, I’d say Bozu is absolutely worth it. There may occasionally be some minor hurdles around payments or logistics, but the exceptional food quality makes up for it. And to their credit, whenever there was a miscommunication or billing issue, I was promptly reimbursed—I never felt like I was unfairly charged.

I sent an email on 31 October 2024 asking for my information to be deleted as per my GDPR rights. They emailed me twice after and the founder personally messaged me on iMessage from his personal number. That is a disgusting mishandling of my personal information ESPECIALLY after I had told them to erase my data.
Had my first order this week and while the food tastes nice and fresh the portion sizes are just far too small for what your paying I can easily eat 2 meals in one go, won’t be ordering again until portion sizes are increased which is unfortunate because as I said the food tastes nice
I'm going to preface this review by saying I have never entered into any dispute with any company, I like to support small businesses and am generally forgiving when mistakes are made. I signed up to this subscription after a recommendation from an influencer I rate, sadly though my experience with this company was wildly unprofessional and unethical at best and potentially illegal at worst. I have reported to trading standards. Issues came about when my monthly subscription payment had been taken 3 times in a 2 month period (I.e I had effectively paid for the following months deliveries about 10 days early) meaning I was left in a difficult position before payday and had paid over £1000 within 2 months for meals even though I was encouraged to go on a monthly plan to save money. It’s suspect to me that when you sign up there is no information about a set date when payments will be taken, meaning it can be decided at the company’s whim. After trying to obtain information about the date I can expect payments to be made, I had a bad feeling so decided to cancel. I didn’t think this would be an issue as ‘cancel anytime’ is plastered all over their website, I also requested a refund for the month I had paid for upfront. What followed over the next 5 days was being bombarded with phone calls and texts (including one calling me an expletive which was apparently a mistake using Siri LOL) despite me saying I wouldn’t/couldn’t communicate that way, some laughable responses from the company to fob me off (including saying the matter has been passed to my ‘personal account manager’ when I’m pretty sure the business is just one guy?!) and having to repeatedly ask when I would receive my money back for the orders I did not want or need. I was promised a refund (have this in writing) but this never materialised. My guess is that this company could be in financial troubles and are taking payments from customers early to keep adequate cash flow in the business. In total I estimate I’ve been ripped off around £400-500 for deliveries I paused and never had reimbursed and for paying for an entire month upfront which was never refunded to me. I hope others, unlike me, read the negative reviews (which they claim are false obviously) here and avoid this awful company but if something similar happens to you I strongly recommend you block further payments being made to this company, avoid phone calls so you can keep an evidence log from emails, raise a dispute with your bank for any payments that shouldn’t have been taken and report to trading standards. There may even be a case for reporting fraudulent activity via action fraud UK as I genuinely feel like some of this is in breach of the law.

Was very sceptical to try something like this but after trying Diets2Go which I believe was the previous name I decided to give it a go. Went with the ‘trial’ option which consisted of 6 meals. Meals were delivered on time and left in the safe zone of my choice. I was in contact with Bozu over email to ask any questions and they were quick to respond. I was concerned about future payments coming out however the reassured me due to this being a trial no further payments would be taken.
The food arrived and I must say it is extremely tasty. All 6 meals I had were absolutely outstanding, the only fault I would add is that the portions could be slightly bigger.
The only thing that puts me off ordering more is the fact you can’t just opt out yourself you need to do it over email and wait before your commitment to paying consistently is stopped. I’d be all over Bozu food if I could pick and choose when I wanted my food I’d rather have the flexibility to order Bozu one week and have a regular food shop the week after but each to there own.
Overrall a massive recommendation if consistent food prep week in week out is what you want. Extremely tasty with good ingredients used and a very helpful team, extremely responsive on Instagram and Emails. Jordan the owner/CEO seems to get a bit of flack on her but he’s always been a very stand up guy when I’ve met him in Diets2Go and always does his best to help.
I will be re ordering once there’s a tool in place to just order and cancel when you want.

Fresh, healthy, nourishing, and high protein, really enjoyed the satay chicken and the piri piri chicken, you could really taste the meat quality which is so rare is many meal prep companies. Would use again!!

This is by far the best meal prep service. Not only are there some great meal choices, the quality, freshness and flavours are exceptional! The service was superb, we used them for an event recently and everyone raved about the food, best ever!
