This company is a joke. Had airfare booked and cancelled due to covid. 100% understandable.

Here’s where the problems come into play. Rebooked for a one way for an adult and 3 kids. The airline had to rebook, again, understandable… BUT this agency decided it would be a good idea to place my children on a different flight than myself. They refused at first to help. I reached out to the airline and fixed the problem myself. Then I notified this dumb agency to not change anything and I had it taken care of. Then we booked a flight for my wife to match up with my fix.

This dumb agency THEN took it upon themselves to change my flight AGAIN, AND the kids flights AFTER I told them not to touch anything, then basically told me “sorry, it’s confirmed. Can’t fix it”.

Stay the hell away from this company. And Kate Reese. She’s the sole reason for all these problems.

Edit: Firstly, if I wanted my name broadcasted to the world, I would have included it in my public profile. Thanks for violating that privacy. Secondly, the email chain I have prove you are lying in your response. Thirdly, Kate literally told me there was nothing that could be done as the reservation “was already ticketed” which is why I wasted my entire night fixing your company mistakes. Furthermore, you waited 10 days before confirming there was even a problem in the first place when I notified you of Deltas schedule change. Again folks, don’t use this company. This is the first time we have, and will be the last.

Kudos to Felix!! Initial contact was met with a personal touch. I had to add folks twice to the main booking. Service was a "breeze". Will utilize AFG again soon.

We booked our flights to Germany one year ago, but due to the pandemic the flights got cancelled. After receiving our vaccinations we are now ready to rebook our flights and to apply our credits from the cancelled flights.
Yury from Alpha Flight Guru provided us with outstanding support, he organized our travels quickly, found great rates and he was very responsive in his communication. Thank you!!!

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the service I received. I booked an international, due to the pandemic I cancelled my flight and requested vouchers for future use. The agent I worked with was initially helpful when canceling my trip; however, when it came time to rebook or request an extension my email and phone calls have gone unanswered.
I then called customer service and was told an extension would be granted. During this call I requested additional information as well. I was assured I would receive an email documenting the extension as well as details regarding how to rebook. I still have not received this email.

UPDATE: A manager finally got back to me, he worked diligently and kept me informed of the process. He was able to grant me the extension to travel I was requesting. Had I received this service from the first call, I would rate this 5 stars.

Our agent, Mr. Ostia, did a wonderful job of applying our credit from last year and finding us a flight for this summer. He was very professional and addressed my concerns about rescheduling due to Covid. Will definitely recommend him in the future. Thank you.

Not answering phone. No returning emails. They have ove $6k of my money. I think I need to contact lawyer. Are they bankrupt??

*Update* So writing this review brought a response. First I must correct an error. They had in fact refunded some money that I forgot about, so the amount still in credit with them is 3k+.

Two since writing this review, I have been contacted, and the person I have been working with has been very responsive. I'll change my review to 3/5 for now, and will update as appropriate.

these guys are excellent. I looked all over the place, and could only find flights that had 33 hours returns come back from europe.

after a few hours, these folks found me a ticket that gets back in half the time for 150$ less then anywhere else i could find

I cancelled a flight due to Covid and was issued an "airline credit" per Alpha Guru - however when I attempted to rebook I found the process difficult - however, a supervisor Fevos K. was very accomodating and reversed hours of frustration within minutes and resolved my issues. Happy ending!

I've booked flights with this company on a few different occasions now. I would recommend this company to anyone that is looking to book a flight without spending fortunes. Honestly, my first experience with this company was not the best. One of my flights was cancelled earlier this year by the airline due to the pandemic. I wanted a cash refund, but I eventually was given a travel voucher for my next flight. I wasn't too happy with that but oh well. My other two experiences after that were great. This company has saved me thousands of dollars on airline tickets. I want to give a shout out to Monica and Michael for helping me with all of my questions.

The website has a problem booking the flight I wanted. After trying multiple times, I called them and was connected to Monica. She didn’t know what the problem was, but really stuck to it until it was solved. Turns out the airline has no seats available for the day I was trying, but it was still offered on their website. That part was disappointing, but Monica eventually got us seats the next day at the same price. Bottom line was that service was great and I would use them again.

Our representative Raymond has worked with us in this crazy covid crisis timeframe. Appreciate his genuine concern & assistance with our flight booking ♡

Booked a flight from JFK to Tucson in February, which I ended up having to cancel due to the pandemic. I requested a full refund, as the situation was not of my own making. My request was declined with the explanation that refunds were not being granted by the airlines, only credits were being given, with many restrictions, i.e. had to be used by the end of the year by the same travelers. I was not happy. It didn't help that when I went to re-book, the agent from AFG did not return my emails or telephone calls until I called the toll-free # and complained. He continued to disappoint, so I contacted them again and asked for a manager. I was contacted by a supervisor, Michael Boyd, who provided excellent customer service and ensured that I was able to re-book fairly easily, at half the cost of my original fare!

During my Tucson trip, I emailed AFG to request an earlier return flight. I received a return telephone call within one hour to confirm my request. About an hour after that I received another phone call advising me that my return flight coincidentally had been canceled by the airline and that AFG would be looking into getting me onto another flight. They made good on that offer, and got me a return flight to JFK earlier on the same day, so I got what I wanted without having to pay for changing my flight! SCORE! The communication from the agent, Joseph, was clear and left me feeling like I was in good hands. The return trip went off without a hitch.

I didn't knowingly use Alpha Flight Guru, I happened to purchase tickets through a discount program offered by the teaching union I'm a part of. I originally purchased my tickets in February 2020 for a trip I wanted to take in late March/early April. Due to COVID-19, I had to cancel my trip. I rebooked my flights for December of 2020 and had to cancel/reschedule yet again because of complications caused by COVID-19. Each time I reached out to the Alpha Flight Guru staff to reschedule my flights, they were extremely quick to respond, professional, and consistently were able to find flights/routes available on the days I requested. They have been very flexible and understanding of the circumstances around my particular situation and I have appreciated their help with this whole process.

I've used AFG twice in the last 13 months - both times I was assisted by Paul Amit. What a star. Both trips were under adverse circumstance (the latest getting back into Australia with new COVID limitations). Paul was responsive every step of the way. We trusted him and he delivered. Not an easy time for international travel......but Paul was efficient and able to get us home!!
