DONT USE THIS COMPANY they are incompetent
In response to A&E Leisure’s reply asking me to reflect & questioning my 1 STAR REVIEW. My response follows; we had Hydraulics fitted to our Caravan at A&E Leisure in March 2025, within weeks the system leaked, this initial failure took until July 2025 for them to fix. Further system errors stopped the levelling system working, after months of constant chasing, cancelled holidays, stress and frustration I eventually resorted to contacting AL-KO and posting my 1 STAR REVIEW. Miraculously the same day on the 11th May 2026 A&E Leisure turned up with a replacement brain. Based on our experience, waiting over 14 months for a warranty repair and to be able to use our caravan A&E Leisure are lucky to receive the 1 STAR.
DONT USE THIS COMPANY if your having Hydraulics fitted save yourselves a headache & GO DIRECT TO THE AL-KO Customer Centre.
How anybody can give this company a 5* review is beyond me. They are incompetent, cowboys.
We spent £3850 for them to fit Hydraulics to our caravan and its failed from day one and still failing.
Happy to take your money but not happy to fix their faults.

For the sake of transparency and to give customers the opportunity to have the full picture, I will advise below.
Issues can sometimes occur - unfortunately there was a fault with the connection being loose, however, we sent a member of staff to your address to come and fix this issue.
We then attended your property for a 2nd time to remedy a warranty issue, where they swapped the brain unit.
Ordinarily the warranty process would call for the brain unit to be taken off and sent back to be remedied which can take up to 6 weeks. However, our staff took a brain unit out of a new kit to resolve this issue for you as timely as possible.
We would sincerely appreciate it if you updated your review to reflect the actions that we took to remedy the issues raised.

Appalling customer service
I have never experienced such appalling customer service in over 40 years of caravanning. I recently bought an awning from this company. It weighed 39 kg and they shipped it to me in a CARDBOARD BOX. When it arrived I realised it was too heavy for me to handle so I decided to return it. As you would expect the box was showing a bit of wear and tear ( normal when shipping 39kg in a cardboard box) I didn’t take any pictures of the box, I just applied some tape to secure it and completed all the returns paperwork. I arranged the return courier and paid £80.00. When it arrived back at the company they emailed me to advised that I would only get a partial refund as the box was showing some signs of damage. I objected and asked for a full refund which they refused to pay. I asked to speak to a manager but they refused this request too. I eventually wrote to the MD of the company asking him to investigate the matter and he didn’t even have the decency to reply to my letter. This company say their main business focus is on “customer satisfaction”. I would say that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Sorry to hear that you were not happy with the deduction from your refund to represent the diminished value of the product.
The Outdoor Revolution Movelite T4E was supplied to you in it's original branded packaging and was returned visibly used, holes present and covered in black tape. As a result, we were unable to resell this product as new and this had to be moved into our used-stock and ultimately sold at a reduced price.
The product specifications, including weight, are available on our website to review before purchasing.
For the benefit of transparency for any customers reading this, the diminished value deduction was 7.5%. This is below even the lowest bracket of deductions for general packaging damage and signs of visible use, which is advised to sit between 10-20%.
The reasoning for the deduction was explained to you before the refund was processed, a full refund request was not just refused. Additionally, the request to speak to a manager was not refused. The member of staff you were in communications with was indeed our Customer Service Manager.
Again, we are sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with the service provided. However, we supplied the goods in a timely manner in 'as-new' condition and we received goods back that were visibly used and no longer able to be sold 'as-new'. We feel that we applied a deduction to your refund that was comfortably below what can be perceived as standard in the retail industry.
Whilst we appreciate the frustration surrounding this, the production information, including the weight of the awning was available before purchase.
We wish you well and if you decide to buy from us again in the future, I am sure that we will endeavour to price our products favourably to you, by way of a goodwill gesture, to recoup the amount that you lost due to the condition of your return.
